Celebrating Children Day with Nature and Fragrance

Children’s Day is always special — a day filled with laughter, learning, and inspiration. This year, our team from Aromatic and Allied Chemicals had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate the occasion with young minds at local schools. Our goal was simple yet meaningful: to help children understand the importance of nature, sustainability, and the fascinating world of aromas.

Learning the Value of Trees

We began our session with a lively PowerPoint presentation and a short animated video highlighting the importance of trees in maintaining the balance of our environment. The children listened with curiosity and enthusiasm as we discussed how every tree contributes to cleaner air, healthier soil, and a greener planet.

Discovering the Magic of Essential Oils

Next, we introduced them to the process of producing essential oils — from harvesting natural plants to distillation. The children were amazed to learn how these tiny drops of oil capture the true essence of nature and how they are used in perfumes, skincare, and wellness products.

A Fun Aroma Activity

To make the session more engaging, we conducted a “Guess the Aroma” activity, where children had to identify different essential oils based on their scents. The excitement in the air was contagious! The winners of the activity were delighted to receive special gifts as tokens of appreciation.
