Spearmint 2025: Organic & Conventional Cultivation at Aromatic and Allied

Spearmint 2025: Organic & Conventional Cultivation at Aromatic and Allied

At Aromatic and Allied, we take pride in producing both organic and conventional spearmint that meets the highest standards of quality, sustainability and purity. As we move through 2025, our continued efforts in cultivating spearmint reflect our commitment to responsible farming, scientific collaboration and community engagement.

Organic Spearmint: From Soil to Oil

Our organic spearmint is cultivated not only on our own certified organic lands but also through a robust partnership with Indian farmers under the CSIR-CMAP (Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants). Through this collaboration, we ensure that all materials used—from planting to harvesting and distillation—adhere strictly to organic practices.

We supply farmers with certified organic inputs, offer technical guidance and maintain continuous engagement throughout the crop cycle. Our dedicated field team plays a key role by regularly visiting the farms, monitoring crop development and ensuring quality at every stage. This year, during the crucial harvest period, our experts were once again on the ground—interacting with farmers, checking the quality of the spearmint and exchanging valuable knowledge on sustainable practices and oil yield optimization.

Conventional Spearmint: Trusted Practices, Reliable Output

In parallel, we continue to cultivate high-quality conventional spearmint, leveraging decades of agricultural expertise and local knowledge. Our practices are optimized for yield and consistency while still respecting environmental stewardship and responsible resource use.

A Two-Way Street of Learning

One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is the mutual exchange of knowledge between our technical team and the farming community. Our recent field visits during harvesting have not only helped ensure the premium quality of this year’s spearmint crop but also strengthened our relationships with partner farmers. These interactions provide our team with insights into local challenges and innovations, making our approach more responsive and holistic.

Looking Ahead

As global demand for natural, sustainable essential oils continues to grow, we at Aromatic and Allied remain committed to empowering farmers, nurturing the land and delivering top-quality spearmint oil—both organic and conventional. The 2025 season is already proving to be a fruitful one and we’re excited to share more updates as we progress through the year.
